Non-Profit Center Vision
In 2008, through careful stewardship, CDSA was able to use agency funds to purchase the historic Newman's Department Store building at 116 S. Independence in downtown Enid. In this inspiring space, our Board of Directors, staff and community have committed to addressing urgent community needs by developing a Non-Profit Center and an Early Childhood Resource Center.
 The site of the Non-Profit Center is filled with history and memories of downtown Enid. These photos are historic photos to show you how the original building came to be.
While the Non-Profit Center will house all of CDSA's programs and administration, its function requires collaboration with the community. The expansive space will allow other area non-profits to co-locate or outstation services in a building with shared state-of-the-art technology, high quality meeting rooms and affordable office space - giving them the support they need to develop creative, effective solutions to our communities' current and future challenges.
It will cost several million dollars to convert this facility into an effective landmark in our community. We, at CDSA, are already putting a team together to accomplish this goal.
